Victoria Ballet Company Presents

With music by: Sergei Prokofiev
Choreography: Victoria Mironova
Libretto: Victoria Mironova after the fairy tale by Charles Perrault

The staging of Cinderella by Victoria Ballet Company is full of happiness, humor, and kindness. Cinderella is a light fairy tale for the whole family; its “rags to riches” story of a young woman is easily relatable by our multicultural society.

Cinderella ballet was staged for the Bolshoi theatre, Moscow, right after World War II. People wanted something light, compassionate, inspiring, and the ballet Cinderella was accepted with enthusiasm. The composer Sergey Prokofiev created the music for Cinderella. It is a true gift to humanity but one of the toughest to choreograph.
